"Breastfeeding Bookmark"
This large bookmark (2.5 x 6") promoting breastfeeding is unique in several ways. First, it shows breastfeeding from infancy into toddlerhood. The public needs to know that breastfeeding is not just for babies. Second, the images are multi-ethnic and shows women of difference backgrounds and social class. Third, we've included a few facts to educate people that breastfeeding is: "For a strong immune system", "Free and custom-made", "Helps a mother's body get back in shape", and is "The best prevention for obesity and heart disease (in kids and adults)". We've also included a blank area on the back for your organization's contcct information. A perfect card to keep with you and give to all the pregnant women you see.

BECAUSE we've lived long enough to know the value of meeting a baby's - and a mother's - needs fully, AND the risks of not meeting them. BECAUSE we know that new parents need and deserve the support, help and calm perspective of wise elders. BECAUSE so many of us did not find in birth or breastfeeding the empowering experiences we would have liked. WE ARE COMMITTED to creating a "culture of caring" for all mothers and babies.
